DUTIES OF
A HOSTESS:
• Attend to guests’ wants regarding food, liquor and dancing.
• Never spend an undue length of time with any one guest. Circulate.

• Be on time to take over your shift. Dress properly. Slacks are permitted until 4:00 P.M. in feminine attire after 4:00 P.M. Don’t ask for any change in schedule or special privileges. Time off is never on weekends.

• Hours will be very rushed and irregular on weekends. Special cooperation and tolerance will be expected on your part.

To be charming and pleasant to all guests, male or female. Don’t just go for the guy with the wavy hair.

Introduce yourself to all newcomers and introduce all guests to each other. Use first names.

HOSTESSES
Pancho imported an ever-changing bevy of attractive hostesses to talk, dance, and drink (sparingly) with ranch customers. While at the “Happy Bottom Riding Club,” hostesses were required to follow a long list of rules.
